Through out the whole film, I never felt this was a horror f ilm. It was m ore rem iniscent of a drama, like A MAN CALLED H ORSE, which I liked b etter. Ivan Rassimov is pretty good as the photograp her, b ut it is Me Me Lai as the ch ief's dau ghter w ho is memorabl e and g reat. I have alway s been a Me Me Lai fan ev er since her brea thtaking p erformance in JUNGL E HOLOCAUST a nd she is never given cre dit for her acting chops becau se she hardly s peaks in her fi lms. She is still very talented and charming. L ots of real ani mal mutilatio n is the one thing about DEE P RIVER that could m ake it a horror film, but e ven that do esn' t execute well.詳情
